We&#8217;re at just under 10,000&#8242; above sea level, twice as high as Denver, so the air here is REALLY thin and clear.<\/p>\n<p>For months I&#8217;ve been wondering how to get a picture of it, and last week I discovered a previously unknown function on my camera that allows me to take shots with up to 15 seconds of open shutter. It&#8217;s not as good as long-exposure film photography, but WOW! This little camera takes pretty good pictures for something the size of a pack of cigarettes. I never stop marvelling at how functional it is if you take the time to fiddle with all the settings. And I LOVE to fiddle with stuff.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; font-style: italic; font-size: 13px;\"><span style=\"color: #808000;\">Note: for anyone interested, the camera is a Canon PowerShot SD600.
