Seven Feathers Travel Center

Canyonville, Oregon 2002

26,000sf  truck stop & restaurant

The goal of this project was to create the finest truckstop on the I-5 corridor between Seattle and San Francisco. My eight consultants and I worked for nearly 2 years on this $8.9 million project, and I think we succeeded. The client demanded the highest quality and durability in materials and infrastructure, ensuring that the travel center looks good and is easy to maintain, despite the rough use it’s likely to experience from its visitors. The design provides smooth traffic flow for trucks, automobiles,  pedestrians, vendors, and employees while accommodating customer service and security.
